The owner of a six month old female Rottweiler named Fifi is very thankful that the deputies of the St. John Sheriff’s Department and the St. John Fire And Rescue Department did what they could to rescue Fifi from her trap after she had her head trapped inside of a cinder block in her owner’s home in St. Augustine Florida.
The story is kind of odd since the owner of Fifi first called the St. John Sheriff’s Office to see if they could free his dog from her predicament of having her head stuck inside of a cinder block.
The deputies tried to use soap and water in their attempt to free Fifi from her trap. When that failed, the deputies then called the St. John Fire And Rescue firefighters to see if they could free the pooch from her trouble spot.
The firefighters then used the Jaws Of Life to break the cinder block to free the puppy who had been stuck in that tight spot for a few hours which most likely caused her emotional harm than the physical kind.
It is not known how Fifi managed to get her head trapped inside of a cinder block. If there is one thing about puppies, it is that they are very curious creatures when it comes to their surroundings at their owner’s home.
Three cheers for the firefighters and the deputies for their service of saving Fifi who now will be enjoying her life at the home of her owner in St. Augustine Florida.
That is one way to calm down a rowdy dog.
The dog is the best friend of man
?????
I can vouch for that since I have owned dogs from my childhood. They are very loyal to their owners.
This is what called humanity and solute to that cop.
The law enforcement officials and the firefighters did a wonderful saving Fifi.
it is hard to help animals when they panic
That is true since they turn hostile to strangers when they feel that they being threatened.
which is a shame, since the person is only trying to help
That is true since that is many first responders face that challenge when trying to rescue animals in trouble.
but that’s why we invented tranquilizers
Another heart warming story and a beautiful dog.
My pleasure to share this wonderful stories on this site. Fifi does look a little bit like my late dog Poochie who was a mixed breed Black Lab and Rottweiler.
Poor puppy, hope that she not very much scared of what happened.
I am sure that Fifi will recover from her scare with the cinder blocks.
Glad they saved her on time. Hope she’s fine now, such a cute puppy. ?
Fifi reminds of my late mixed breed dog Poochie who was a Black Lab and Rottweiler.
