A small female dog was seen running on Interstate 15 in Nevada in the area of Las Vegas last month which caused a panic for the drivers who did not want to harm the small dog whose name is not known at this time.
Nevada State Patrol Officer Chris French who was assisted by several strangers who stopped their autos since they did not want to injure the small female dog who for some reason that is a mystery managed to get on Interstate 15 during the afternoon rush hour via the ramp near Washington Avenue.
Officer French did admit that when he and the other strangers went to pick up the dog to be taken into the squad car that the behavior of the small dog was normal since the dog seemed to be in a very nervous state running on the interstate where many autos were in the area.
The dog was so nervous of having Officer French having to take her into his squad car, that she bit the officer on his finger before she was able to get into Officer French’s squad car to The Animal Foundation where she will be placed in a quarantine room until she is ready to be placed for adoption or the owners of the dog can come and pick her up at the animal shelter.
What is amazing to me is that police officers are also good at rescuing dogs who just love the adventure of running on streets, highways and now interstate highways around the world.
Yes, well the dog was really frightened but the officer did a great job rescuing it.
I know if I were a dog running on an interstate with heavy traffic, I would be scared too if some huge person came to take away.
don’t mess with state troopers
No sir. State troopers are not to be messed with at all.
They seem to have a lot of patience. Good for this guy!
I know if I were in the officers shoes, I would show a lot of patience to a stray dog or cat since I believe in life is precious for everyone.
Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive.
The good fruits of doing Godly things in life lead to prosperity.
