What I know about house fires is that when the firefighters give an order for anyone to please let them handle the fire in a home, please obey their orders to let them handle the job of rescuing a human and or an animal.
In the case of Jose Guzman who is the owner of a young puppy pit bull named Gabbana who used her instincts to hide inside a bathroom during a home fire in Pala California, he decided to go for broke and disobey the orders of the firefighters to risk his life and limb to rescue his young pup even it meant losing his life since Gabbana is his best friend to the point he would run through walls just to save her life.
Jose was able to find his pet dog after ran inside the burning building despite the fact that the building was filled with smoke which made it hard for him to see through the darkness.
I do not know if Jose has any training of dealing with running into dark buildings as a member of the armed forces or any work related venture but he was able to find his dog hiding behind the toilet. Jose was able to get his pet out of the bathroom and flee outside the burning building with burns on his face and arms.
Gabbana had burns on her paw and face. However Jose and Gabbana are safe and sound. When Jose was asked if he had to do it all over again to rescue his pet dog despite the chances of survival not on his side, Jose mentioned he would do it again.
You can call Jose a brave man or a man who is devoted to risking his life to save his loved ones even though he is not a trained firefighter.
The Pala Firefighters were able to put out the fire that caused the loss of his two autos and his tools that he uses for his work as a landscaper and construction as well as the home where Jose lives with his fiancée and two daughters.
A GoFundMe.com account has been set up to assist Jose who is now living with a relative so he and his relatives can get back on their feet once again.
nice post loved reading it
My pleasure to share these wonderful stories on this site.
I do not know what to say. Maybe I would do the same. I think that in such cases we are not thinking and reacting instinctively.
Jose decided to take a chance to save his puppy since the love he receives from his best friend is worth in his eyes worth the risk of saving his pet instead of allowing the firefighters doing their job.
Some do not realize how dangerous fires can be.
That is true since dying by fire is the worst way to die.
I do not know what to say … for me it’s a reckless act … is one dog’s life worth the human … well in this story is that everything is happily ended
The firefighters are trained to handle rescues better than the average person.
I totally agree with you….and have the necessary equipment and knowledge for this work
As the old saying goes “Let the professionals do the work so you do not have to.”
That’s right dear friend
