A deaf man in Maine adopts a dog that was on the verge of death

I am sure you have heard of the slogan “Birds of a feather flock together” when it deals with humans likes with their favorite objects in life.

Nick Abbott who lives in Maine was born deaf which has not stopped him from having a heart of compassion for dogs that needed his assistance in times of need.

Thanks to the social media site Facebook, Nick was able to learn about the story of a puppy named “Emerson” who was at the North Florida Rescue Maine animal shelter on the verge of death due to seizure and Parvo which would made Emerson a difficult dog for anyone besides Nick to adopt him.

After Emerson was cured of his maladies that almost ended his life as a puppy who was most likely abused when he was younger, Nick realized that he was the perfect match for Emerson when he went to see him at the shelter, Nick saw that his relationship with Emerson was a match since thanks to the love that Emerson showed his potential master that he the chosen one to share his life with for the rest of his lifetime.

Emerson is what you would call a fast learner since he is learning sign language from his Nick to obey his commands.

Talk about a match made in Maine between Nick and Emerson who share a common bond despite both of being hard of hearing which does not prevent them from enjoying life.

    • I do not know much about dog relationships to strangers that much. However Emerson seemed to like Nick to be his owner at first sight which made their friendship even better.
